ಅಡುಗೆ ಮನೆ

ಒಗ್ಗರಣೆ ಹಾಕುವಾಗ ಚಟಪಟ ಸದ್ದು
ಸೌಟು ಮಾಡುವ ಸೊರಸೊರ ಶಬ್ದ
ಸಾರು ಕುದಿಯುವಾಗ ಕೊತಕೊತ
ಸಾನ್ವಿಗೆ ನೋಡಲು ಬಲು ಇಷ್ಟ

ಮಿಕ್ಸರ್ ತಿರುವಾಗ ಗೊರಗೊರ ಶಬ್ದ
ಒವೆನ್ ಬಿಸಿಯಾಗುವಾಗ ಸರ್‌ಸರ್ ಶಬ್ದ
ಪಾತ್ರೆ ಬಿದ್ದಾಗ ಟಳ್‍ಟಳ್
ಸಾನ್ವಿ ತಟ್ಟನೆ ಬೆದರುವಳು ಇಲ್ಲೇ

ನೀರು ಬೀಳುವ ಸೀಳ್‍ಸೀಳ್ ಸದ್ದು
ತರಕಾರಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವಾಗ ಕಟ್‍ಕಟ್ ಶಬ್ದ
ಬೇಳೆ ಹಾಕುವಾಗ ಟಕ್‍ಟಕ್
ಸಾನ್ವಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಲು ಬಲು ಇಷ್ಟ

ಚಪಾತಿ ಉದ್ದುವಾಗ ಲೊಟಲೊಟ ಸದ್ದು
ದೋಸೆ ಹೊಯ್ಯುವಾಗ ಚುಯ್‍ಚುಯ್ ಶಬ್ದ
ಏಳುವ ಬಿಸಿಬಿಸಿ ಹೊಗೆ
ಸಾನ್ವಿ ಕಣ್ಣು ಅರಳುವ ಬಗೆ

ಅಡುಗೆ ಮನೆಯ ನೋಟ ಶಬ್ದ
ಯಾವಾಗ ಹೊಕ್ಕರು ನಿಲ್ಲದ ಅಚ್ಚರಿ
ಮಾಡುವುದು ವಿಸ್ಮಯ ಸೊಬಗು
ಸಾನ್ವಿಗೆ ಅದೊಂದು ಬಣ್ಣದ ಬೆರಗು

Sprouting

There was drooling & there was tendency to keep everything in mouth.Then one fine day, it made its way out of the lower pink jaw.

The first teeth !

First of the 'milk teeth' made its debut. Cute shiny cutting teeth on Saanvi's lower central jaw...

The little teeth is looking awesome whenever Saanvi bursts into laugh. 

But its not such a laughable thing for Saanvi's mother as Saanvi is experimenting the biting during milk feeding !

Saanvi also is testing the emerging teeth by biting the spoon, while feeding the cereal.Then there are fingers which are her favorites.

There is already one more teeth about to sprout that is just next to this first teeth.

We can't wait for the entire set of tooth to join the party !!

ಬಣ್ಣದ ಗೊಂಬೆಗಳ ಅಂಗಿವುಟ್ಟು
ಕೂದಲು ಹಣೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟು
ಬೆಚ್ಚನೆ ಟೋಪಿ ತೊಟ್ಟು
ಹೊರಟಿದೆ ನನ್ನ ಸವಾರಿ

ಕಿಟಕಿ ಹೊರಗಿನ ಬೆಳಕು
ಓಡುವ ವಾಹನದ ಸದ್ದು
ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಸಿಗುವ ಕೈಬೆರಳು
ಮಜವಾಗಿ ಸಾಗಿದೆ ದಾರಿ

ಯಾವ ಯಾವುದೋ ಅಂಗಡಿ
ಎಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಜನ
ಎಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲೂ ಬಣ್ಣ ಬೆರಗು
ಇನ್ನೂ ಎಷ್ಟೊಂದಿದೆ ನೋಡೋದು

ಆದರೆ ನೋಡಿದ್ದು ಸಾಕಾಯ್ತು
ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯು ಹಸಿವಾಯ್ತು
ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗೋಣವೆನಿಸ್ತು
ಇನ್ನೂ ಎಷ್ಟೊತ್ತು ಇಲ್ಲಿರೋದು

ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದಾಯ್ತು
ಹಾಲು ಕುಡಿದಾಯ್ತು
ಟೆಡ್ಡಿ ಹೊದಿಕೆ ಅಮ್ಮ ಹೊದಿಸಿಯಾಯ್ತು
ಈಗ ಸಮಯ ಮಲಗೋದು

Month Five

The rabbit hops around the house and Saanvi sitting in rabbit's arms starts giggling.

Rabbit hop is one of the many things which makes Saanvi laugh. Rabbits are us and she love hopping carrying her.

Things like pretending to fall or even sneezing is making her giggle.

Surest thing to put a smile on her face is the mirror.

Anytime she is taken near the mirror, she smiles at her own image. Sometimes she even says something to her image.

Saanvi enjoyed the new toys & dress for Christmas. She roamed in christmas in the park celebration. Met Santa.

On New year day, she visited the temple in new dress.

And Saanvi turned over on her own !  Now she gets on her tummy without any pushing and looks around laying on tummy.

ಮೊಲ ಮನೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಕುಪ್ಪಳಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ, ಮೊಲದ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತ ಸಾನ್ವಿಗೆ ಖುಷಿಯೋ ಖುಷಿ.

ಸಾನ್ವಿ ನಗಿಸಲು ಮೊಲದ ಆಟವೊಂದು ವಿಧಾನ. ನಾವೇ ಮೊಲವಾಗಿ ನೆಗೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ ಕಿಲಿಕಿಲಿ ನಗು ಸಾನ್ವಿಗೆ.

ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಬೀಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಸಹ ನಗು ತರಿಸುತ್ತೆ.

ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಸಾನ್ವಿಯ ಅಚ್ಚುಮೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವಸ್ತು - ಕನ್ನಡಿ.

ಯಾವಾಗ ಕನ್ನಡಿಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಇದ್ದರೂ, ತನ್ನ ಬಿಂಬವನ್ನು ತಾನೇ ನೋಡಿಕೊಂಡು ನಗುವುದು ಖಂಡಿತ. ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ತನ್ನ ಬಿಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಏನೋ ಹೇಳುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವೂ ನಡೆಯುವುದು.

ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಮಸ್‍ಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬೊಂಬೆಗಳು ಸಾನ್ವಿಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾದವು. ಸಂತಾ ಕ್ಲಾಸ್ ಭೇಟಿ ಸಹ ಆಯ್ತು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ’ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಮಸ್ ಇನ್ ದ ಪಾರ್ಕ್’ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುತ್ತಾಟವೂ ನಡೆಯಿತು.

ಹೊಸ ವರ್ಷದ ದಿನ ಹೊಸ ವಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾನ್ವಿ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಳು.

ಅಂದಾಗೆ, ಸಾನ್ವಿ ಹೊಸ ವರ್ಷದ ದಿನ ಯಾವ ಸಹಾಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಮಗುಚಿಕೊಂಡಳು. ಈಗ ಮಗುಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗಿ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ನೋಡುವ ಕೆಲಸ.

New dawn

ಬೆರಳ್ಗೆ ಬಾಯಿ !

ಮೊದಮೊದಲು ಒಂದು ಬೆರಳು ಬಾಯಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುತಿತ್ತು.

ಈಗೀಗ ಎರಡು ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಕನಿಷ್ಟ ಎರಡು ಬೆರಳುಗಳು ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಅದರ ಜೊತೆ, ಚಪ್ಪರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೆರಳು ಚೀಪುವುದು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಮೊನ್ನೆ ಸೋಫಿ ಎಂಬ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಜಿರಾಫೆ ಮರಿ ತಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದೆವು. ಸಾನ್ವಿ ತರದ, ಹಲ್ಲು ಮೂಡುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚಿನ(ಹಲ್ಲು ಮೂಡಿದ) ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾದದಂತೆ ಈ ಸೋಫಿ. ರಬ್ಬರಿನಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಸೋಫಿ, ಸಾನ್ವಿ ಕೈ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಡಿತು.

ಕುವೆಂಪು ’ಬೆರಳ್ಗೆ ಕೊರಳ್’ಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ಸಾನ್ವಿ ‘ಬೆರಳ್ಗಳು ನೂರು ಮಡಿ ಲೇಸು, ರಬ್ಬರಿನ ಆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸೂಫಿಗಿಂ’ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಳಿ ತನ್ನ ಬೆರಳಿಗೆ ಮರಳಿದಳು !

ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸಿರಿಲ್ ತಿನ್ನಿಸುವಾಗ ಚಮಚ ಕಚ್ಚುವುದು, ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಸುತ್ತಲಿನ ವಸ್ತ್ರ ಎಳೆದು ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಮುಂದುವರೆದಿದೆ.

ಇದಿಷ್ಟು ಸಾನ್ವಿಯ ಬೆರಳುಗಳ ಕತೆಯಾದರೆ, ನಮ್ಮಗಳ ಬೆರಳುಗಳು ಸಾನ್ವಿಗೆ ವಿಸ್ಮಯವುಂಟು ಮಾಡುವ ಆಟಿಕೆಗಳು.

ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈ ಬೆರಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾನ್ವಿ ಮುಂದೆ ಆಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ, ಅದನ್ನು ತದೇಕಚಿತ್ತದಿಂದ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಬೆರಳುಗಳು ಹೇಗೆ ಓಡಾಡುತ್ತವೆಯೋ, ಹಾಗೇ ಸಾನ್ವಿಯ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಮುಖದಿಂದ ಎಷ್ಟು ದೂರ ಬೆರಳುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು, ಅದನ್ನೇ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾಳೆ.ನಮ್ಮ ಬೆರಳುಗಳ ಕೈಗೆ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ, ಮತ್ತೆ ಆ ಬೆರಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಎಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ. ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಒಂದರ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಎರಡು ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಾಗ, ಯಾವ ಬೆರಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಜಿಜ್ಞಾಸೆ !

ಪುಟ್ಟ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಬೆರಳು ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಆಗುತ್ತದೆಯಂತೆ, ಹಾಗೇ ಹಲ್ಲು ಬರುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಬೆರಳು ಚೀಪುವುದು ಜಾಸ್ತಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಾನ್ವಿಯ ಅಜ್ಜಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಬೆರಳು ತೋರಿಸಿ ಹೇಳುವಾಗ, ಸಾನ್ವಿ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಅವರ ಬೆರಳುಗಳೇ ಮೇಲೆ ಇತ್ತು !

Letter to Santa

Last year around this time, we discussed for a long time and got convinced that we had done good deeds through the year. So we wrote a letter to Santa.

Dear Santa Claus,

How are you doing? Hope the elves and reindeers are in great spirit. 

Just to remind you that we have been really good throughout the year. We were little stupid & little naughty but most of the time we were good.

Can you please bring us a gift that is something special & lovely.

Looks like Santa was real busy handling  & delivering all the requests he got. So we thought Santa didn't  read our letter. But finally the reply from Santa did come few months late !
