ಪಾರಿಜಾತ ನಲಿದು ನಲಿಸಿ

ಕಮ್ಮನೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಸೂಸಿ

ಬೆಳೆಯುವುದ ಕಂಡು ಹರ್ಷಿಸಿ 

ನೋಡುತ್ತಲೇ ವರ್ಷವೊಂದ ಗಳಿಸಿ

ಹರಡಲಿ ಕಂಪು ಕೀರ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ

ಮಾಡಲಿ ಹೆಸರು ಸಾಧನೆಗಾಗಿ 

ಇದುವೇ ಆಶಯ ಪಾರಿಜಾತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ 

Months Nine to Eleven

Month 9

ಸಾನ್ವಿಯ ಸಾಗರೋಲ್ಲಂಘನ !

ಭರತಖಂಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗ ಸಾನ್ವಿಯ ಆಗಮನ..

ಮೊದಲ ವಿಮಾನಯಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೂ ಗಲಾಟೆ ಮಾಡದೇ, ಆರಾಮವಾಗಿ ಆಟವಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಳು. ವಿಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರಿಗೆ ಮುಗುಳ್ನಗೆ ಬೀರುತ್ತಾ, ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಜನ ನಮ್ಮ ಆಸನದ ಹತ್ತಿರ ನಿಂತು ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದಳು.

ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿದಾಗ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾನ್ವಿ ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ೨ ಡಜನ್ ಜನ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಸಾನ್ವಿಯನ್ನು ಇದೇ ಮೊದಲ ಸಲ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಮೊದಲ ಸಲ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸಾನ್ವಿ ಸ್ಪಲ್ಪ ಗಾಭರಿಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಳು, ನಂತರ ಸ್ಪಲ್ಪ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಜೊತೆ ಆಟವಾಡತೊಡಗಿದಳು.

ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಆಟೋರಿಕ್ಷಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುವಾಗ, ಸಾನ್ವಿಗೆ ಎನೋ ಖುಷಿ. ಥೀಮ್ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ರೈಡ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಗುವಂತೆ, ಸಾನ್ವಿ ಆಟೋದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಕೆ ಹಾಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು ! ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾರ್ನ್ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಓಡುವ ಆಸಂಖ್ಯಾತ ವಾಹನಗಳನ್ನು ಕುತೂಹಲದಿಂದ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು.

ಪ್ರತಿದಿನವೂ ಸಾನ್ವಿ ನೋಡಲು ನೆಂಟರು-ಗೆಳೆಯರು ಬರುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಹೊಸ ವಾತಾವರಣ, ಹೊಸ ಮುಖಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಯತ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾಳೆ.

Saanvi  crossed the oceans and she is in India !

She was pretty relaxed in her first flight and was in playful mood. She was smiling at co-passengers on the flight and made many of them to stand at our seats.

Atleast 2 dozen people had come to airport to receive her. All of them were seeing Saanvi for the first time. Saanvi was initially terrified but soon started playing with everybody.

After some days, her first ride in Autorickshaw was fun. She was shouting with joy as if she is in a theme park ride during the auto ride ! She was curiously watching all the hundreds of vehicles around that were honking and running.

There are friends and family that come almost everyday to visit Saanvi.

Saanvi is trying to adopt to the new faces and new conditions.

Month 10

ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ ಎಂದೊಡನೆ ಎರಡು ಕೈಮುಗಿದು ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾಳೆ.
ದೇವರ ಕೋಣೆ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತೆ.

ಕುಕ್ಕರ್ ವಿಷಲ್ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ, ಆ ವಿಷಲ್ ಧ್ವನಿ ಅನುಕರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಬಾಯಿಯಿಂದ ಗಾಳಿಯೂದುತ್ತಾಳೆ.
ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆ ಎಂದೊಡನೆ ಎರಡು ಕೈ ತಟ್ಟಿ ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆ ಬಾರಿಸುತ್ತಾಳೆ.ಗುಡ್ ಜಾಬ್ ಅಂದಾಗ ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆ ಹೊಡೆಯುತ್ತಾಳೆ.

ಬಾಗಿಲಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗುವವರಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈ ಬೀಸಿ ಟಾ ಟಾ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ.
ಬೈಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತು ತಿರುಗಾಡುವುದು ಸಿಕ್ಕಾಪಟ್ಟೆ ಇಷ್ಟದ ಕೆಲಸ. 

ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಂದರೆ ವಿಪರೀತ ಖುಷಿ. ನೋಡಿದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಾ ಬಾ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾಳೆ.

Saanvi has learnt to do 'Namaskara' by folding both hands. When she sees the worship room, she automatically does Namasakara.

Initially she was terrified of cooker whistle sound. Now she got used to it and even learnt to imitate it. She blows air when we ask how cooker blows whistle !

She probably understands what clapping is. When we ask to clap, she will start clapping. Curious thing was she starts to clap hands when we say 'good job' !

She waves hands at everybody going out of door.

Loves roaming around on the bike.

Likes the kids a lot and calls every kid she sees.

Month 11

ಆಮ್ಮ, ಪಾ, ಬಾ, ಭಾ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಶುರುಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.

ಅಂಗಾತ ಮಲಗಿದಾಗಿನಿಂದ ಕೈಯೂರಿ ಎದ್ದು ಒಬ್ಬಳೇ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾಳೆ.

ಮೂಗು ಯಾವುದು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರೆ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಾಳೆ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಮಂಗನ ಚಿತ್ರ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗಲೂ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಾಳೆ.

ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಥ್ಯಾಂಕ್ಸ್ ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈ ಚಾಚಿದರೆ, ತನ್ನ ಕೈ ಚಾಚಿ ಥ್ಯಾಂಕ್ಸ್ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ.

ಹೊರಗೆ ಓಡಾಡುವ ನಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ನೋಡಿ, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾ ಬಾ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುವುದನ್ನು ಕಲಿತಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.

ಹ್ಯಾಂಡ್ಸ್ ಅಪ್-ಡೌನ್ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಹೊಸ ಕಲಿಕೆ.

Saanvi has started to say 'amma',pa,ba,bha !

She pulls her up from sleeping position and sits.

Shows the nose when asked. Also recognizes the picture of monkey on the wall.

She extends her hands for thanks giiving.

She watches the dogs with curiosity and often waves at them to call.

Doing hands up-down is another new trick she has learnt.

Month Eight

There is a constant demand from Saanvi to make her walk. With somebody holding her shoulders, she is loving to walk. Instead of small steps, she is covering the ground with big steps !

Along with the walks, kicking the ball is another favorite activity these days.

She gets excited seeing other kids around. Often she extends her hand as if to call them and sometimes makes noises when she see other kids.

She is liking the boiled vegetables, rice & pulses. Saanvi can hold pieces of the vegetables in her fingers and stuffs into her mouth. Same with the Chapati pieces.

There are two new teeth now on upper jaw. All together 4 tooth !

ಸಾನ್ವಿಗೆ ನಡೆದಾಡುವ ಹುಮ್ಮಸ್ಸು. ನಾವು ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಓಡಾಡಿಸಿದರೆ ಮನೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಇಡುವ ಆಟ. ಪುಟ್ಟ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳ ಬದಲು ದಾಪುಗಾಲು ಇಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ವಿಶೇಷ !

ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕಾಲಿನಿಂದ ಚೆಂಡನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳುವುದು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ನೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಆಟ.

ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಸಾನ್ವಿಗೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಖುಷಿ. ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಗೆ ಕೈ ಚಾಚುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಧ್ವನಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾಳೆ.

ಬೇಯಿಸಿದ ತರಕಾರಿ, ಅನ್ನ ಮತ್ತು ಬೇಳೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತಿವೆ. ತರಕಾರಿ ತುಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆರಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ತನ್ನ ನೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಚಪಾತಿ ತುಂಡುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಹ.

ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಎರಡು ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳು ಮೇಲ್ದವಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದಿವೆ. ಈಗ ಒಟ್ಟು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳು !

ಬಣ್ಣದ ಲೋಕ

ಜಿಗಿಜಿಗಿದು ಕುಣಿವ ಅಲೆಯ ನೀಲಿ
ಸುಯ್‍ಸುಯ್ ತೂಗೋ ಮರದ ಕಂದು
ಬಣ್ಣದ ಬೆರಗಿನ ಲೋಕವಿದು

ಚಿಲಿಪಿಲಿ ಉಲಿಯುವ ಗಿಳಿಯ ಹಸಿರು
ಜುಮುಜುಮು ತೂಗುವ ಹೂವಿನ ಕೇಸರಿ
ಬಣ್ಣದ ಬೆರಗಿನ ಲೋಕವಿದು

ಕರಕರ ಕಡಿಯುವ ಸೇಬಿನ ಕೆಂಪು
ಹನಿಹನಿ ಜಿನುಗುವ ಹಾಲಿನ ಬಿಳುಪು
ಬಣ್ಣದ ಬೆರಗಿನ ಲೋಕವಿದು

ಪಳಪಳ ಹೊಳೆವ ಕಿವಿಯೊಲೆ ಹಳದಿ
ಹಿಡಿಹಿಡಿ ಸಿಗುವ ಜಡೆ ಕಪ್ಪು
ಬಣ್ಣದ ಬೆರಗಿನ ಲೋಕವಿದು

ಬಗೆಬಗೆ ಬಣ್ಣ ಬಗೆಬಗೆ ವಿಧ
ಎಂತಹ ಸುಂದರ ಲೋಕವಿದು
ಬಣ್ಣದ ಬೆರಗಿನ ಲೋಕವಿದು

Month Seven

Saanvi is calling..

She has learnt to wave hands as if to call us.  She grabs any object which she can hold and tries to shake it.

Saanvi is able to sit for a while. Trying to touch her own feet when sitting is her favorite activity. After sitting for a while, she just slowly slide sidewise and becomes flat. It looks like a sack of sugar sliding...

Curiosity towards food is been increasing and she has been looking at our plates. These days she is getting to taste new food like customized versions of rice & green vegetables. This is complimenting her staple food. She enjoys grating small pieces of apple with her two teeth. But she most enjoys the little chapati/talipattu pieces and chews on them as if they are world's most tastiest bytes.

Drinking water has become a play. She blows air while drinking water to make the hissing sound.

Finally, she is making voices as if she is singing. The singing session goes on for most of the day and sometimes the songs are non-stop !

ಕೈ ಬೀಸುವುದು ಸಾನ್ವಿಯ ಹೊಸ ಕಲಿಕೆ. ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೈ ಬೀಸಿ ಕರೆಯುವಂತೆ ಭಾಸವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಾಗೇ ಕೈಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕದನ್ನು ಅಲುಗಾಡಿಸುವುದು ನಡಿದಿದೆ.

ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಶುರುಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾಳೆ ಸಾನ್ವಿ. ಕುಳಿತ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸಮಯದ ನಂತರ ಸಕ್ಕರೆ ಮೂಟೆಯ ತರ ಪಕ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ವಾಲಿ ಅಡ್ಡವಾಗಿ ಬಿಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಕುಳ್ಳಿರಿಸಿದಾಗ ತನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ತಾನೇ ಮುಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾಳೆ.

ಆಹಾರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ-ವಿಸ್ಮಯ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬೆಳೆದಿದೆ. ನಾವು ಊಟ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ನಮ್ಮ ತಟ್ಟೆಗಳ ಕಡೆ ಗಮನ ಜಾಸ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ತನ್ನ ಎಂದಿನ ಆಹಾರದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಈಗೀಗ ಹೊಸ ಬಗೆಯ ರುಚಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ಮೆತ್ತಗೆ ಬೇಯಿಸಿದ ಅನ್ನ-ಸೊಪ್ಪು-ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ತರಕಾರಿ ಸೇವನೆ. ಸೇಬಿನ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಹೋಳುಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಎರಡು ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕರಕರ ಎಂದು ಎರೆಯುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾಳೆ.
ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಖುಷಿಕೊಡುವುದು ಚಪಾತಿ ಅಥವಾ ತಾಳಿಪಟ್ಟಿನ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ತುಂಡು. ಅದನ್ನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ಕೈ-ಬಾಯಿ ಹಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಚಪ್ಪರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ತಿನ್ನುವುದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಮಯ !

ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಯುವುದು ಸಹ ಹೊಸ ಆಟವಾಗಿದೆ. ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಯುವಾಗ ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಗಾಳಿ ಊದುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಅದರಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಗುಳುಗುಳು ಶಬ್ದದಿಂದ ಖುಷಿ!

ಕಡೆಯದಾಗಿ ಹಾಡಿನ ರಾಗದಂತೆ ಧ್ವನಿ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಹೊಸ ಕಲಿಕೆ. ಈ ರಾಗಾಲಾಪ ದಿನವಿಡಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

ಅರಳಿ ನಿಂತ ಕಣ್ಣು

ಕಾಲು ಕುಣಿಸಿದ ಕಿನ್ನರಿಗೆ 
ಸದ್ದಿನ ಮೂಲದ ಹುಡುಕಾಟ

ನಾದ ಹೊಮ್ಮುವ ಮೂಲ
ಕಾಲ ತುದಿಯಲ್ಲೆನ್ನುವ ಸಂತಸ

ಮತ್ತೆ ಕಾಲು ಕುಲುಕಾಟ
ಮತ್ತದೇ ಅಚ್ಚರಿ ವಿಸ್ಮಯದಾಟ

ಕಿನ್ನರಿಯ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯ ನೋಟ
ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಗೆಜ್ಜೆಗೆ ಸಂತೃಪ್ತಿಯ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ

Baby Gal's Closet

Does Saanvi know where her dresses are kept ? Can she identify her dresses?

For past few days, we have been getting these doubts.

One day, when she was crying, we were trying to console her. While strolling, passed next to a closet and she stopped crying for a while. It was the same closet where her dresses were kept.

We didn't think it was linked to closet but again same thing happened other day. Its been happening since then.

Recently Saanvi did Spring collection shopping and added some new colorful clothes to her collection. These clothes were hanging in the closet. We took her near that closet and she was smiling, looking at them. She was stretching her hands to one of the colorful dress.

There is one more closet which has her grand mom's sarees. Whenever we take her near that closet, the reaction is different. She doesn't look like bothered about it.

Back then, initially when we came to know that it would be a baby girl, one of the things which made us excited was the limitless possibilities of getting the baby dressed up in so many different ways. There is nothing like getting the baby gals dressed up in cutest dresses.

Are baby girls more conscious about their dresses ?
